Artist Focus: Rich Braham & the Whale Submarine

When we decided to make our first Surf Sistas Tees we knew we wanted something pretty special for the design, and the illustration of Rich Braham at Whale Submarine had caught our eye.  Lucky for us he agreed to lend his talents to a special surf dreamcatcher design just for us and we were blown away by the end result .. he even included our special mascot the pink fish

Rich recently opened a studio in Newquay and his designs have been popping up all over the shop, we loved the characters he created for the Slyder Cup artwork.  The guys over at Approaching lines cleverly lined up a little interview with the man himself and if you want to keep up with his work you can throw him a wee like over at facebook

Photo Diary: Costa Rica surf road trip

13 surf chicas, 10 days, 2 four wheel drives & 15 surfboards versus a huge swell, the Costa Rican jungle, potholed dirt roads, and blazing sunshine ..   it was clear there would be alot of paddling, some sunburn, bad reggae dancing and a ridiculous amount of cuba libres!
