Kicking off our Welsh Summer with Sunshine and Waves!

The weather and wave gods were on our side this weekend with a fantastic reminder of why you don't have to leave the UK for an amazing outdoor adventure!    Check out the pics below of our happy crew of Surf Sistas this in Llangennith, Wales.  Beginners riding the white water with Mali and improvers charging small green peelers with Gwen :)

If you have never been to Llangennith before it is super easy. Either drive direct to the Gower or hop on a train to Swansea and then take a bus or taxi hop to Llangennith village. There are some great places to stay from a campsite right next to the beach to B&Bs or self catering cottages. Its such a beautiful place its no wonder it was voted the 3rd best beach in Europe

 

Escaping the white water rut in 2014!

We have all been there, in a bit of a rut with our surfing, wondering if we will ever achieve that next goal, wether its catching a green wave, riding along the face, feeling confident in bigger surf, turning or just understanding the conditions better so that you can be in the right place at the right time..

If any of this sounds like you then its time to invest in the next level of your surfing progression.  Sign up for one of our summer Improver Weekends, there is no going back to basics (unless you need to), just a fun weekend with fellow surfers, setting achievable goals with your instructors to take you to that next level. Each session has a dedicated Surf Sistas videographer and we review the footage over the weekend with you.

Our improver weekends are spread throughout the summer in Wales and Cornwall, click here to find out more about weekends in Llangennith, and here for the Cornwall option.  Our Cornwall weekends include transportation from London if needed, our Surf Bus heads down on Friday evening after work and comes back Sunday afternoon.  If you want to come with a friend who hasn't surfed before then check out our beginner weekends for them, you can hang out together and just take separate lessons.

Summer is here! Lets go surfing ..

It feels like summer is finally here, time to enjoy the bluest of blue seas, golden sands and lush summer waves of our very own beautiful Cornwall.    This summer we have beginner and improver weekends running hand in hand, perfect if you are coming with friends with different levels of surf experience!

All weekends include transport from London if required, two nights stay in a fantastic 4 star surf lodge, breakfasts, surf coaching, a table booking at a great eaterie on Saturday night and a surf goody bag from Oakley. With our Surf Sistas host on hand to help you make the best of your weekend we can also arrange spa massages and treatments, other beach activities like Stand up Paddleboarding or surf rafting and point you in the right direction of the perfect beachside cream tea or coast path walk.
